Nice camaro. I will be getting my grandmothers 1991 Z28 in about 2 months. It has the 305 V8 with 60,000 original miles, auto (but still fun as hell to drive), red original paint, red leather interior. She doesnt drive it anymore and wants to keep in the family.
very nice mine is a 92 RS T-tops and you seen pics. its auto alwell and i agree its a fun cruising car. red was origiional paint on mine (herritage edition) look it up

I wasnt trying to offend you, your 305 has more hp than my 3.4 and probably gets the same gas mileage roughly. But if I had a 3rd gen and it was already set up for a V8 (i.e. suspension, brakes, rear axle) but it had a 305 in it, Id definately try and find a TPI. They look so sweet in 3rd gens, and theyve got a decent amount of potential.

anyways yeah i only have about 77k on the motor now so i will run this until it is no more after that looking to swap ls1
but im not trying to rush any of that 6 speed lsd tranny and ls1 ftw! but its expensiive and i would def need a posi rear before that swap 
I get about 16mpg. Like I said, its beat to s**t. Not that the 3.4's were ever efficient on gas anyway.
Swapping an LS1 into a 3rd gen isnt a cheap thing to do. But it is definately worth it if you can afford to do the swap. I think it costs about 7-10k to do the swap into a 3rd gen, including parts if you can find a used LS1 drivetrain for cheap. You dont have posi?
