Seriously, unless it has an L98, LT1, LT5, LS1, or LS-Anything for that matter ... it's a waste. Unless we're going to get into the older models and 402's and such. But those are motors I appreciate on a whole 'nother level. It's what I grew up wrenching on.

So keep talking like I don't know anything about Bowties just because I frequent a Honda site. :beer:

Not at all, I was never trying to imply that anybody who stepped into the thread knew nothing about what we were talking about. My problem began when we were just having a discussion, not bragging about things, and then other people stepped in and started bashing s**t for no reason at all. The section is labeled "other" and for people to step in here and just say that this thread should be closed or to just start bashing things is unnecessary.

If I was sitting here and saying "oh yea my 3.4 is so powerful, never driven anything faster" then yea I could understand people coming in here and saying that its a weak motor. But I even acknowledged that it was weak.

Its just funny because, out of all those other cars the people who own them actually acknowledge that people on this website know about cars OTHER than civics. Where you two kids are acting like this whole forum is full of know-nothing idiots, just because you're talking about camaro's now. Sorry, but it doesnt quite work that way.

Its all in your attitude on presenting your car, not the car itself.... well.... in your case, its mostly point #1 with a little of point #2 mixed in.

Right, and i was talking about TPI, TPI = Tuned Port Injection.. which is a level 2x better than TBI.

just all haters.... anyways i just replaced my drivers side mirror because it just cracked in half ??? lol
also i reconnected my air dam the right way and painted it flat black lol now i drag on every turn pretty much

No I wasnt saying that, I was trying to say that if your only input was that the 305 is worthless then you didnt even have to comment because we already covered that. And Im sorry, but the LS1 is on a whole other level than the LT1.

It is a great motor, mainly for its time of existence though. I would love to, and probably will in the future swap an LT1 into my car. But if one can be afforded, an LS1 has a much broader power curve, is more reliable, and gets better gas mileage. The LT1 was a great motor when it came out, but since the LS series has come out, the LT motors just dont hold their own as well.

very true stated in a previous post that my step brother has a lt1 4th gen and ls1 5th. the lt1 feels so much better off the line much more torque and his ls1 has awesome 400+ hp top end, but lacks a little torque... overall both are great motors for their times don't knock old tech. lol

:word: his ls1 got 23 mpg on his last fill up he texted me lol thats always good 400+ with 23 mpg getting better then my 305 lol

This post makes me laugh actually. The 5th gen isnt out yet, and when it does come out in a couple months, it will not have an LS1 in it. You are probably referring to the 4th gen with the slightly different front end. Its still a 4th gen. And I can not think of any reason why the LS1 would be lacking torque on any part of its power curve.

Im not a 4th gen TA fan, I think they just have too many curves on the body. They arent bad but I like the SS more. But I do love me a 3rd gen GTA.....I was actually considering getting one. Depends on the gen for me. 1st gen Camaro, 2nd gen TA, 3rd gen GTA, 4th gen SS :cool:

what kind of electrical problems??? i just got a blue neon lisence plate frame and it will work with my neons. my girlfriend gave it to me for easter ;)

Somewhere in between the radio and speakers the car is losing power. If it sits for 3-4 days the battery will die. Me and my friend are going to get new speakers and just rewire them ourselves and disconnect everything else :what:

Nice camaro. We had one here all weekend in the garage. Friend of mine just got one for her newest project, its the 92 25th Anniversary Edition
Still needs a lot of work, just did rear brakes and a few other minor things to get it through inspection
