Respect each other. Show maturity. Be civil. Don’t call each other names (unless you are friends bullshitting). Don’t come on here to be an a*****e. Have some tact. It’s ok to disagree with someone. It’s even ok to tell them that you think that they have an ugly car (should they ask for your opinion). What is not ok is to be directly slanderous.

And REITERATE that TOPPING OFF has no more affect on paying for gas you already have than not topping off.

Topping off has VERY little to do with paying 'extra' for repumping gas. you're just displacing more of the vapor that is designed to exist in your cars

Topping off the gas tank can result in your paying for gasoline that is fed back into the station's tanks because your gas tank is full. The gas nozzle automatically clicks off when your gas tank is full. In areas of ozone nonattainment, gas station pumps are equipped with vapor recovery systems that feed back gas vapors into their tanks to prevent vapors from escaping into the air and contributing to air pollution. Any additional gas you try to pump into your tank may be drawn into the vapor line and fed back into the station’s storage tanks.

i do that, too, when i'm at home. and i always regret it. you'd think you'd learn your lesson when your feet go numb.. but nooooo..

joe does it EVERYWHERE. even at restaurants, if we're in a booth. when people do that near me, i don't like the foot that they have tucked under them to face me. it bothers me. feels dirty and weird.

apparently we enjoy feeling footless.

my mom does it, too. it just doesn't make any sense.

i especially enjoy it.. or even propping up on my knees, when i draw using an easel. which i'm getting one at home in the next couple of days, btw. i'm excited. never had one of my own before.
