What makes you want to go another direction? Lack of power? With a turbo it should be a fun little car and still get decient mileage. My truck only gets 12 @ 70mph

With the short gear trans, I am at about 3500 rpm in fifth gear driving 70 and still get 30mpg.. but if i could, I would do h22a. For price though, you can't go wrong with b18b1. Nothing wrong with building d series at all either. With a turbo you can make any Honda a fun little car

Yea. I've been reading up on the d series. Could do a mini me swap, a more aggressive cam, skunk2 intake mani and 72mm throttle body. And undecided on the turbo. As far as pistons and rods, what are the recommended ones for a d series? And which ones will give a 9.5:1 compression ratio with the vtec head?
