This thread inspired me to go out and try a lambic. I didn't see that brand, but I believe the one I got is authentic. It's called Kriek Boon, Spontaneously fermented, aged 2 years, brewed in Lembeek, Belgium.

and I have to say.. I think I'm in love.

It was easy for me being in Europe for a couple of weeks... When I get back to Colorado Springs I'll be on a micro brew quest. There are plenty of micro breweries in the area, and the stores sell all kinds that I've still yet to try. Only a month and some change to go before this damn deployment is over...

On a side note, thank you.

I didn't know this actually had meaning, this just makes it more bad ass

Delirium tremens (colloquially, the DTs, "the horrors", "the fear", "the abdabs" or "the rats"; afflicted individuals referred to as "jitterbugs" in 1930s Harlem slang; literally, "shaking delirium" or "'trembling madness" in Latin) is an acute episode of delirium that is usually caused by withdrawal from alcohol,

Delrium's Tremens is a good brew. Had some on tap in Belgium when I was there. Hung out for a bit on the main (ground) floor where all the taps were:

Then made our way downstairs to the basement where they were featuring live music. Beer selection is amazing, music not so much:

Oh, and here's what I'm enjoying now.

Paulaner Hefe-Weizen

Nothing too special, but still a good wheat beer...
Really only got it because I'm trying to build my brown bottle collection. I've got some homebrew fermenting as we speak and will need some bottles soon to carbonate it in.

I'll be having some other good ones posted up either tonight or in the next few days.

Anyone know what these might be?

I've got a few 4-packs in my fridge waiting for their final companion to join them before we finally toast.

Looks like some Sam Adams to me! I'm not sure what I was drinking last night, but it was from a keg!

After having that Paulaner I remembered I had just a bit let in a growler of Bristol Brewing's own Old No. 23. An American Style Barley Wine Ale. Comes in at a whopping 10.4% ABV yet only about 70 IBU's. It's definitely a tasty treat.

Imperial white and double bock????
Yup, I know it wasn't that hard. I thought of making it harder, but meh. I though I had some of the Imperial Stout at home, hoping to complete the trifecta, but my memory failed me yet again. Now to look for some Utopias
