why bother? no point in doing it just to do it, your not gonna get a crazy amount of power out of the D if you dont dump some serious cash into it, if you plan on swapping soon or something then yes go ahead but if you plan on just driving it for a little bit then why not keep it?
Yea keep the ac, not much power loss there, if you keep the D & rebuild it for boost & rebuild the trans to hold it would be worth the D, otherwise look for a K swap, big gains there n/a.
You put like not alot of money in a k swap
I'm just throwing out ideas, it's what you can afford to do or see plans of doing in the future.
just keep it for a hot day, you wont get much more power with out it. the weight isnt that much either.
Haha honestly. I don't care about losing the quoted 40 pounds or whatever, or an extra 2whp, I just don't use it, don't need it, don't want it.
If you honestly never use it yank it itll free up some room in the bay make it look cleaner will prolly make tucking easier and you also get the tiny gains from it. if it honestly never gets used might as well pull it out no point in it just chilling there if you dont want it or use it.
iif you plan on ever selling the car down the road, the ac will be a selling point imo
Do it, its easier and looks way better
Thats why you dont just break s**t when you take it out so you can put it back in and just say it needs to be recharged
Okay so doing the A/C was easy until I accidently cut a major harness and lost my lights, fixing that was kinda a b***h but it's all gravy. Didn't have my camera during it so no pics except for after ones.
Oh and I also did a JDM hood tilt, it's so Japan, but no I like it, and then repainted my Neuspeed bar, and CAI.
