For the most part, it is just bling. In my case, I was missing quite a few bolts because I bought my setup in pieces. Instead of buying oem or plain bolts, I opted for Downstar replacements. After buying the bolts I needed, it sort of became an addiction and really made the factory bolts look like s**t. Plus doing a little side work for Downstar helped to ease the overall cost.

The bolts are of higher grade than oem bolts...but it's not like you hear about oem bolts failing in the first place unless they are rusted to hell

Nope, dumped a couple grand on my wife and sons birthday over the last month. Life > cars
gotta keep everyone happy, spend as much on the woman and then some then I do the car. people in your life are more important than a metal can.

Fix that, the right people are more important. I've spent a lot of my time and money on people that I should've never let take advantage of me the way I did, but you live and you learn.

Can't believe I haven't checked this thread out yet......

The engine is gorgeous. Can't wait 'til it sits in the car.
Thanks man. Probably putting in an order for my AC/PS delete late tonight.

I removed my Benen polished rear lower tie bar. Going to polish it up a bit and throw it up for sale late tonight as well. Already mentioned it on my instagram, but ill have to make a little card or whatever to post it online. Just a heads up for those who may be interested

I don't think he will have a clearance issue. K swapped cars CAN NOT be left "slammed" or even close to the height Kerry is at now. The oil pans wouldnt last a week at that height. I bet he has better plans for stiffening up the rear end.

The benen bar doesn't hang low like a beaks bar. I took it off to use the better hardware that came with the function 7 brace which is too short to use with the benen as well.

Had to knock out new tires for the NT03, I was lazy and tried to make use of the tires that came on them for as long as I could. So there went a good 500 bucks. I also painted up the rotor hats since there's a portion of the rotor that's exposed that always gets surface rust on them and just looks ugly. Then I got carried away and painted up the caliper too. I like them much better now. Hoping to order some things later this week.
