All you do is downshift and come off the clutch.
Besides, my car JUST had a clutch put in it.
Lol. I know how to downshift. Thanks though. Been driving for 20 years.

Just did my fronts yesterday came to $78 at orielys auto parts. Both rotors and pads. wish I would have ordered off ebay

It really should be a no-brainer, clutch versus brakes. One is a giant pain in the ass, the other is barely more difficult than changing the oil, even when ignoring the cost difference between the two. But come on, the OP was gonna believe his friend that the trans was bad when it was obviously an axle knocking.

$78 for rotors/pads is a crazy good price, don't know why you aren't happy with that. especially considering it would have been close to 150-170 for a shop to do it...

What all should I replace, just what needs to be replaced, what bearing, bushing and other rubber pieces should I replace?
I'll try you guys' new fangled brake riding technique vs using the engine and clutch to down shift and slow down next time I drive.
