consol question

as long as i get some credit, you are more then welcome. i did call around but i can't find any 99-00 consol. there is one available on ebay, but that d**k is selling each part separately, and needless to say each part is marked up by large percent. i am still thinking of attaching the LCD separately, and trying it out. if it does not look good, i can always change my consol to a 99-00. right?FireEMT8572 said:oc's got a point, if you truely want to execute that Idea then you should do the swap but I like that idea for the car PC and the LCD, consider the idea stolenj/k

if you want to change out the climate control you will need the following:
thing under heater unit, motor under heater unit (bottom part of heater unit unless you have a later prefacelift hat has the motor attachment thingies)
high relay, transistor
it helps if you have the entire wiring harnesses then you only need to attach blue/yellow wire from rear defrost to blue yellow on harness ... don't make it permanent put a connector in between
you will have to take dash out to put in air vent duct but you cann just cut it out but that is jerry-rigging, I'd do it the right way. You don't really need the harnesses but then you will be short matching connectors which will eb bothersome. and you will need to rewire quite a bit.
but i do believe this has been answered at the very beginning.

it will fit but it wont work unless you convert the cable to hydro
is anyone interested in the blower box and the heating box for combined of $100 shipped? coz I am going to be buying for me tomorrow and if anyone else is, I can buy it for them as well. Once I have that, all I need next is the (a/c) bezel and harness. the 96-98 dash works fine with the 99-00 swap.
