OOOOHHHHHHH!!!! gotcha. I'm def going to try that. Thanks man!get a handle and a tap with the thread pitch of the shifter and try to tap it more. Maybe the threads inside just stop. OR drill press it deeper if it doesn't and tap the extra bit you drilled
I had to re-tap a beer handle to the thread pitch of my shifter to use it as a knob lol
yea, I don't blame you. They were asking for people to send in some fan pics and I was bored. haha. Plus they are pretty frequent at the meet's I go to, so I talk with them there about it.well we are both from PA which might be why. i just dont ahve time to go take pictures and i dont feel ready. got to much to do yet
Not to my knowledge. It's a pretty solid paint job. I would like it to be black with an EBP chassis, but I can't afford a full respray right now.i need to get this guy i know done, he has been wanting pics for a few weeks but no time
so is the bay rattle can orange?
I was having this same problem before my head gasket woes began. I wish I could help you, because that is really annoying. And worse of all, if I'm in 2nd gear and let off the gas, the car buckles back and forth violently. Not sure why.
Thanks man. I'm trying to stay positiveLife's a b*tch. That sucks man. Best of luck to all of it. Still looking good.

I hope to God its not my head gasket. If it is, I'm garaging it and saving up for a damn swap.I was having this same problem before my head gasket woes began. I wish I could help you, because that is really annoying.
Small, yes. Difficult, prob not. Time consuming, yes. Available time...............none.windows have issues all the time. even brand new cars go bad
throttle cable you should just have to adjust
get the CEL scanned for free?
the bucking, well not enough description there. all these issues seem pretty small to me
I can try. I've had 2 different shops tell me they can't check it. So......................i'll try for a third^^This. Bucking/sputtering is usually a fuel delivery or spark timing issue. Since you did disconnect some fuel components, I would get the CEL scanned and go from there.
I will try another time. Not enough time in my schedule anymore with college startingpaper clip in the connector (thats what i use anyway) turn the key, count the flashes. simple.
Thanks man! I talked with some buddies who work at the Honda dealership and they said that the car is coming along nicely. Gonna be done by next week though.Im rooting for ya bro. Get that thing back on the street asap

Nah. The guy said it was my throttle spring getting stuck. Is the throw-out bearing the cause of the lurching issue?
Ah ok, I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the heads up.Nah. The guy said it was my throttle spring getting stuck.
In my opinion, no. I would have done those repairs myself for the cost of parts.$1500 for:
-new injectors + seals
-spark plugs + wires
-driver side window motor
-and a couple more things
Worth it?
I didn't pay for it. The guy called me and told me the price and what "needs to be done." I told him thanks, but I'm just going to pick the car up later on today.Ah ok, I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the heads up.

With that being said, you don't have the time to fix it and just need a car to drive. So was it worth it to you to essentially get your car back on the road?
