surprisingly enough..thats not hdr. Just multiple layers, playing around with unsharpen mask, burning and shadow and highlight tool.

Well bouncing the light off the ceiling accentuated every wrinkle on her face and made it look like she has bags under her eyes. It also cast her eyes themselves in shadow, which deepens the whole face and makes it look older and more sunken.
