Thanks for the comment Intel. I agree. I think if you used lighting other that bouncing it off the ceiling, it would have made for a better picture.

should make a diffuser out of a rubbing alcohol bottle and i just thought of if you line the bottle with white paper it can act like a soft light but i am unsure of that.

yeah, my diffuser is a white plastic sack i put around the flash. i can fold over another flap on it if i need it diffused more, works great! but i only have the flip up flash on mine

tried messing around with burn and dodge tools in photoshop...I am having trouble when making hdr's though..I thought u could make them with one raw file but photoshop hits you with a "not enough dynamic range"

with hdr you are "supposed" to merge 3 or more photos with at least a -2,0,2

that part isnt set in stone....ive done some with all different steps of exposure....some of MY best hdr's were done just by sticking to 3 images (ive done up to 7 merged images) and a basic -1, 0, 1 ....

haha well i visit a canon website and almost every non sporting event car is hdr overdone. so im over hdr before i started haha.
