yesterday me and my gf both had class so we couldnt do much so i surprised her outside her first class with candy and flowers then also tagger her car with a shoe polish valentine's note. then we spent the rest of the time in between classes just hanging out. what my gf says valentines is, is a day for girls to compare their boyfriends to their friends boyfriends... to them its a big contest to see who "has the best boyfriend", and also a day for remembering why you enjoy being with that person (not that every day shouldnt be that way). anyways it turned out to be a really good day

just commenting that what you find more meaningful might not be to someone else. random acts of extra affection are nice, and appreciated because they're a complete surprise, not encouraged by the fiasco of valentine's day. BUT plenty of us get lots of enjoyment of doing something special with those who are special to us on valentine's day... and there's nothing wrong with that.

now, children...

so me and my sweetie did corny stuff for each other and made dinner together. also got my POS car running and out on the street a little bit. then everyone else in the house decided yesterday to eat our valentine's leftovers... that were rather laborious... but a happy valentine's day, nonetheless.
