Well if I were you, I would call up the insurance company and tell them that I better get an extra pretty penny for the excess parts on the car. If they are going to pay you for a car that is completely stock, they better be getting a f**king car that is completely stock.
Doesn't work like that. If the parts aren't originally insured, they won't pay put. Trust me I found out the hard way. So, they totaled the car, I paid a few hundred to get it out of the junkyard, and parted it out for more than I originally bought it for 8 years prior.
The coupe is fully insured, all mods listed and covered now.
OP---the only thing you can do is haggle your insurance agent and get him/her to the yard to take the pix and estimate the damage ASAP so you can buy your car out.
