I hate the red-light cameras. I does really suck. There are some intersections where the light post also have a count-down light so that you can stop before it even turns yellow to better your chances at not running a red light. Not all intersections have the count-down light though, now that is the f**ked up part.

The camera will not take a picture unless it senses that your in the zone while the light is actually red. What i do most of the times to be on the safe side when approaching a red-light camera intersection with no count down is just to downshift. If the light of of a sudden changes, then all of the sudden my foot slams the gas pedal.

I've gotten two red-light camera tickets. One of which i payed, and another one which i still owe. My first red-light ticket was very stupid of me to even try and beat the light(this intersection did not have a count-down). I was driving my gf's Echo and i thought i was going to make it. lol, not a freaking chance. Second red-light ticket was on Christmas eve, I didn't make a complete stop when coming to a signal that was green, turning on red was allowable, but i didn't stop, i just auto-crossed that b***h.

What's more crazy about these red-light cameras is that, when you go pay the ticket, its all automated. I also think that they lie on the due date of the ticket. I payed the first one after the due date and did not pay the $200 the ticket said i was going to have to if payed after the due date.

I think it was intended for those who take late yellow lights.



Turning to the left with non-stop on coming traffic. if your still in the turning lane in the middle of the intersection and your light turns red, you better say cheese. To avoid that, wait for the green arrow.

that's f**ked up. here in indiana, as long as you enter the intersection while the light is yellow, you're ok. doesn't matter if the light turns red on your while you're in the intersection.

oh, and cell phone use is legal while driving too. including texting. unless you're in a school zone...

it wasn't until just a few years ago that we got an open container law here. hell, a driver could drink and drive as long as the BAC was under .04
