Girls who don't understand that you don't have the money to spend a ton on them are selfish. See if you can find something that is special, like cooking a meal at home and promise you will take her out later when you have the funds. If she gets all pissy cause you aren't taking her somewhere expensive, but actually putting though, effort, and time into doing something like making her a nice meal she is dumb. No offense to your girl, just my random rant of the morning.
