yeah, I'm going with the type 31 also so I don't have to cut any supports, I still haven't decided how I'm going to go for ecu control, I like hondata but I don't have big money right now, probably have to rely on the e manage blue box for a while until I can afford it

yeah on turbod16 there are a lot of peeps who have complaints about the blue box, so i figured i would try to stay away from it. I heard its really good as long you run the kit in its stock condition, and just upgrade the engine management when you upgrade your turbo set-up. but i definetly wanna get my hands on the PRofec-E boost controller. its soo simple to work

yeah, thats what I figured, I'd be ok until I up the boost. I figured that I'd replace it next spring after I get new injectors and get a thicker headgasket to drop my compression a bit so it wouldn't be a problem when up the boost

internals on a D-series is what makes people think twice about boosting the D. TurboD16 has a top dyno of 302 hp with only a T3/T4 hybrid turbo, thick headgasket and an AFC hack at 16 psi. now just think, with upgraded internals (say from Skunk2) you could push that and feel a lot more safe about it and quite possible more. Its something i think wanna experiment with before i swap. I've already messed around inside my D and i run 14.98 right now full interior. the only bolt ons are a cold air intake and an APEXi' N1 cat back. i know i know, a 14.9 aint fast, but its a hell of lot faster than a stock 16.7

"i love poppin' my hood at the track......there always lookin' for spray"

just a short ram intake, full catback exhaust, higher flow cat. But I don't know why its doing so good, I have no idea what was done internally before I got the car. I was never told what was done to it but I assumed it was stock when I got it but it runs damn strong for what I have done. Appearance wise it was bone stock and nothing on the outside of the motor appeared to be modified. I don't know though

Could just be a factory jem or your a good driver i beat si's with i/h/e when mine was bone stock all day long. That is a good time for a EX with those mods though.

not trying to be cocky, but I do know how to drive, I have the certificates to prove it  I went to Bondurant over the summer and graduated the fastest in my class around a track at least. I beat everyone in the class by almost 2 full seconds in the autocross. I was running numbers equivalent to the instructors that had raced all their lives, most of them had trophies all over the place from different racing series.

I don't know about straight line, my friends are always amazed at how fast I shift, but I don't know for sure how I compete with someone in a straight line in same cars, we didn't drag at Bondurant

the edelbrock kit is worthless to me. with all the things that come in the package it puts out a lil less than the GReddy kit which really only gives you the basics

I like the edelbrock because it comes with more stuff, stuff=good

I get dealer pricing from most places because of my dad's bodyshop so I can probably get the edelbrock around 2500 if I look around. Im most likely goin with that as soon as i scrounge up the money =)

hmmm....you get more stuff.....and you get LESS HP. "searching for logic... .... .... sorry no matches found" if you had the GReddy kit and added the missing peices (which would make the kits about the same price) you'd have a much larger output.
