having hood pins is not always good

I'm going to be paranoid as hell about my hood for awhile now...

i just got on off the ramp and hit about 70mph then it opened while i was in the fast lane and just when i got to the fast lane.thats when it happened..i pulled over to close the hood so i could pull over to the right side of the freeway because the left side had no room for car..so i took off again and it happened again..so i had to go out again and look hella stupid and close my hood and then i finallie got to shoulder on the right and took my hood off with my bare hands..it was the hardest thing i've ever done cuz i didnt have any of my tools with me..so i just threw my hood on the side and picked it up later with our suburban..yea at least it will look much better

Well your right it dose suck.. I hope you didnt do the pins your self ? If you didnt and had someone else install them for you I would raise hell. If you didthem your self well them I guess the 2000.00 bucks isnt so bad for your life. Still sorry to see what happened to your ride.

Like said abovr, just cause you have hood pins dont meen you dont need to have a working hood lattch also..............
