having hood pins is not always good

The webpage for those pics arn't working for me. A friend of mine has a hood off of a 99 Si that is painted black that has holes already drilled for pins plus the pins. He runs about 100 shot at the track and his hood has never had problems. I can ask how much he wants for it if you would like...I can tell ya it'll be a lot less than $2000 too.

o no its koo about the hood..imma get a invader hood that will run me about $410...its having the car the way i want it to look that is gonna cost me the BIG BUCKS..but aniwaise..i plan to take it to the shop this weekend or when im out of school to some shop around town so till then..ta ta

same thing happened to me a while back. only i had hood locks. i forgot to lock them and i was on the onramp, reached 70 and WHAM all i could see was my hood behind a spiderweb windshield. only view i had was near the bottom of the windshield right below the hood. pulled to the side and always checked my hood before i leave now.

i couldn't think of shiat when it opened on me but to pull over..thinking of other people behind me was the last thing on my mind..i just wanna ruin my car animore than i alreadie did..i had on locks too..but i guess one of them broke and it couldn't hold with just one..so now what u see on the pics is the outcome..and is sucks big time..now its all sunny and warm outside and i cant drive my baby...to everione, be careful with ur cars

no i think the hood pins were just not good all in all..my cuzin had the same ones and his hood flew open on him too..so dont buy the hood pins that lock..they suck..as u can see..thank for the concern guys..
