as of right now, democrats are voting against it also...but for different reasons

TOTALLY disagree..

Illegals hurt us in two very obvious ways..

1) they earn money that in MANY cases is not taxed ("under the table") and then send a large portion of this earned money back to the country they are from to help families... this takes money OUT of the US market and sends it to other nations.. money earned here and not spent here is detrimental to our economy.. you can only withdraw so much from a container without putting back before that container is empty...

2) they work low end jobs that americans have been conditioned not to.. this puts americans out of work.. these then out of work americans who qualify for special help can go draw money out of our government through various forms of aid...

remove illegals
*opens up the job market to americans even if its jobs they dont want
*reduces strain on social services (less people to care for)
*reduces money flying out of the country
*reduces amount of crime.. ILLEGAL aliens ARE criminals..by the most basic definition.. if they have ZERO regard for a law as important as immigration what makes you think they would be likely to follow any other laws..

you could go on for days.. the thought that "ILLEGAL Immigrants" serve a "useful" role in our society by doing work we wont is absurd at best..my family STRUGGLED and went through HELL to be in this country legally.. and it is a HURTFUL slap in the face to allow these scumbags some "special" right.. what makes them any more special than someone suffering in the african desert or someone starving in the street of Russia.. the fact that they can run across our border in the middle of the night?

any ONE MINUTE positive impact illegals generate would be FAR outweighed by the negative..

I respect your opinion Anthony. You clearly have very strong feelings on this topic. I am just pointing out that your opinion is only one on this complex issue. Others have different opinions that do not see all illegal immigrants as the pure evil as you clearly do, and there is some evidence to support such a view.

This issue about illegal immigrants has been going on for many, many Years. They work hard and send money to their country to help their families.. I'm not just talking about mexicans..
So what, people do what they want with their hard earned money. Millionaires buy expensive cars and jewelry while most illegal immigrants are in the U.S. for opportunity and to help their families move forward, etc..

There's a difference. Millionaires pay taxes on their income. Illegals don't. The ONLY tax they pay is sales tax when they buy something and tax at the pump, other than, nothing. They don't contribute to the education system, they don't contribute to the health care system, they only take from it.

Help their families move forward? They could do that by becoming US Citizens and helping their families become US Citizens.

I'd immigrate somewhere else but I'd make sure I'm doing it legally.

If my family was starving I'd also try to find a better job or find a way to make extra cash. There's a way to have a decent life, just some people don't want to work for it, they think they can come here and get a easy job and make good money.

that's pretty much how i feel yeah... its like you are standing outside of a club waiting to get in.. you are standing there for HOURS... and then some a*****e jumps in front and goes in... he reaps all the benefits of getting in while you stand out in the cold and wait your fair turn.. when he has had his fill of the club and has reaped all the benefits he leaves.. as hes leaving he passes you.. he has a girl he picked up.. been drinking a bit and having a GREAT time.. you confront him and say WTF DOOD.. to which he replies.. oh yeah its great in there.. but man im beat.. but if it makes you feel better ill stand in line now....

THEY ILLEGALLY ENTERED THE NATION I CALL HOME.. they did NOT belong here.. going through the process AFTER is NOT some quick fix..

ive been poor.. ive been homeless.. and ive been hungry...

i worked my problems out LEGALLY...i didnt rob people or do illegal s**t.. i just got myself together and bettered myself.. if i lost my job tomorrow and was starving and had NO OTHER OPTION.. i would head off to the woods and live off the land.. my hardships do NOT give me the right to violate others.. integrity.. character.. pride.. thats what is important to me.. NOT finding some cheap quick fix..
