HID headlight lookalikes

silverstars don't appear to be blue, and i can't seem to find piaa plasma blue's that will fit my car (part # 9003) I don't really care about brightness, the cheap-o's i bought at walmart are plenty bright, and i have people flashing high-beams at me everyday, but....I want to get the deep blue tint. where can i find these?

silverstars are white.... thats why they arent blue... you wont find a 9003 in piaa to fit your car, but you will find a H4.... which will fit your car

yes .. those are really nice too if you're looking for bulbs go either that or Piaa, Silverstars are nice brand too, but it burnt on me quick. I've had Piaa for about 1yr or so then i went HID. Hey i got 9003/H4 Piaa plazma blue Fx bulbs for sell Pm me

why not go to a junkyard, get some ballasts and the projectors form a hid equipped car and put emin your civic?? i know the bmw projectors can be made to fit in your ek housing.

well i got a set of four (super whites) since they were cheap from

they are probably the whitest bulbs you can get before you go blue
blue is not good for non-HID bulb because it just lowers your light output to make the light blue
a set of two ill run you under $10 with the shipping but i bought 4 since they were so cheap ive beening running them for a year and i love them there is no way ill pay more than $5 a bulb for s**t these are great and run at a higher wattage too so they are a brighter aswell as being "super" white
by the way they are on ebay but cost more i bought mine on ebay from them but after a current check they charge ebayers more probably to cover the cost that ebay charges them so just buy from them directly because they use paypal so you can trust them

Why do you want to go for HID when you can go for Angel eyes they are the new thing! HID Lookalikes are nice but they only last for a little white. Go for Angel eyes headlights they Look the DON! They cost around $160 but well well worth it!

Have/ Had Projectors with singel and duel angel lights. And yes they do look great on the car, but the projectors are not as bright as your Stock bulbs. Plus it's made out of cheap class unlike the BMW's and benz and some other high class car that has them projectors. i got Phillips HID kit, and only paid $250 and it has 1yr warranty. I love it well spent money.

I've got PIAA's in my car and they're pretty damn close to hid look, but not performance! They don't do any extra shining at night. I've heard really good things about the silverstars.

dude... HIDs are not illegal.. if they were then Mercedes, Jaguar and such would not be able to sell them in the United States

hid was never legal in US, just Benz bmw jag and other luxary cars put them on. Cuz it dont' got that filament or w/e which makes it illegal. But no on complained about it until recent months now they going to pass a law illegalizing the "HID" kit or who ever sells "HID" look alike or whatever. i think i have a link somewhere, and i believe this was brought up on the forum before =p

damn dis nikka slambed be hella slow...the aftermarket HIDs are illegal because the headlights on hondas, acruas, etc is not custom made to make the HID shine in one direction....but the luxury car HIDs arent illegal because the headlamps were designed specifically for the HIDs....learn ur s**t rite
