clean install man, looks really nice. did you end up adding any additional ground points or did you just use all the stock locations?
i didnt add any ground points. first, i looked around on honda tech about ground points that were available. the one draw back to this ground kit was that the wires were either too long or too short. the very first ground wire we did was the one from the negative battery terminal to the chassis. then the one from the valve cover to the chassis. since the wire was too long, i found a place where the AC goes and put a nut and bolt on it. works just fine. i read it was recommended to put a ground on the fire wall. since i didnt have a wire long enuff and a place to put on the firewall, i put a ground to the top left of the battery. if u see the pics, ull see that. the rest went on various places on the block and transmission. so for most part i used the stock points and then i had to wing a couple. but didnt have to drill anything and the kit comes with everything you need.
I am curious to see this belt rub your talking about, take some pics if you can...
i wish i wouldve took pics. me and friend determined it was the crank case sensor that had been looped around the alternator belt. the connector made contact with the belt and you could see the insides of the connector, which would make a short when it touched anything. i went to the junk yard, found a DC4 and cut off a couple connects. my friend spliced the wires with some 16 gauge wire i bought at home depot. used some shrink wrap, aluminum foil to help deflect heat, taped it up with electrical tape and finished the job with some wire loom. no more ecu fuse popping.
