How often do you get laughed at cause you drive a Civic?

i think it has alot to do with where you live, people in rural missouri or more likely going to get laughed at ,verses someplace like socal or perhaps florida.....
and yes, ive lived in all three, so i can compare....

usually the ricers will f**k with me. Like the second month i had the car all these cobalts and like old Honda accord station wagons wanted to race. I was like umm I don't race. They usually get really pissed and just take off ahead of me. Or they'll pull up next to me and just start revving the s**t outta their engine and I completely ignore it. Usually I'm the one laughing at them.

I've never had that happen. All that happens to me is that domestics sometimes race by me when i'm at a stop light.

In the burbs I'm around I'm one of the few Civic drivers.

Never really had anybody laugh at me. Some poeple have flipped me off for no reason though.

Oh and there are plenty of Honda / Acura ricers here so pretty much every Honda / Acura gets laughed at. But the people that know people (such as myself) that drive clean / stock ones don't say anything. It's only the kids with foot tall aluminum wings, eBay $20 mufflers, plastic chrome spinners, and huge body kits that get s**t.

i dont get laughed at bc i dont ever drive my civic. i drive my 11mpg truck bc its fun and you can drift around corners. but mostly bc it has more seats. and my car beats most of my friends actually all of them so they never laugh at me. i beat my friends supercharged GTP and my friends mustang gt and my car still isnt tuned. so maybe it will be better when it is. i know street racing is very bad. but i got a bad habit of doing it and once i get thrown in jail for it i will prob realize how stupid i was for doing it. and have to get a lawyer to keep it off my record. bc its a class b mistimenir in tx now. and jail time with car impounded.

icic.. he works someone near where i work and everyday when i get off work i usually catch him goin the same direction as me.. his car sounds pretty mean.. i wanna race him but then he probably would just ignore me since i dont have a front bumper =(
