The funny part about that is, the McD's rite next to work has the double drive in.. and the Rallys here also do. its not going to bother me one bit. Oh.. the only downside is that I have to get out of my car at the bank now, but I wont want to get my car that close to the ugly teller anyway, I sure would hate to scratch the paint.

I will take some tomorrow. We got the engine compartment cut in and the firewall. I still have a TON of wiring to do and if all goes well the b18c1 will have its new home by saturday. I am fairly certain that she will be running around by the end of next week, even if the outsid will still be red and primer. I cant wait to roll her out with the RHD and the new sunroof since its been SOOO nice here in phoenix the last few weeks.

this dude has dedication and is very persistant in what he wants.

i can never give him enough credit for what hes doing because this is a huge step from youre average project car, if i had the money, time, and resources i would be taking the same path but i dont... but god damn this is one project thatll have an impact on many people. good luck and i wish you the best (best of show)

thanks for the positive mugen_tuned. Emin.. I have put money into the motor as well, It has a Supercharged gsr motor going in. And when its done it WILL be really nice. The car will be exactly what I want it to be, Not a cookie cutter copy like so many civics and imports on the road today. I figure, 12k that might sound like alot of money. But honestly, I paid 18k for my galant, Its a nice car, but it needs a few things to be what I want. So 12k for EXACTLY the car I have always wanted, plus the satisfaction of knowing I built it, and the fact that almost every part of the car is new, means I will be able to enjoy my car for along time, and if in the future someone else wants to buy it, they also will be able to enjoy it for a long time. its really not alot of money when compared to what I would have spent if it was a '70 olds 442 that needed to be restored, or if it was a nissan P/U that I wanted to body drop. Hell, it would cost me 12-15K for a 99-00 SI that wouldnt be nearly as fun or fast. So I don't feel I have wasted any money, wasted any time, or really care if people don't understand my passion for cars and the satisfaction that comes from knowing that I did this and did not pay some people to make my car for me. Thanks for everyone that show support for my love of the car. I will have some pics posted today of the freshly painted firewall and engine bay. tomorrow the wiring and motor should be in there new home.
