Is having a V-Tec really important??

The price sounds a little steep, Ibought my 93 si for 2900.00 and it is in pretty good shape. vtec is not a must, but it sure is nice. You could always convert it to vtec with a z6 or a y8 head, but you could also just run a higher lift longer duration cam without vtec, the rough idle sounds cool anyway.

Unless its only an SOHC Vtec :wink:

just kidding, I wish I had VTec, but the ZC seems to be a more desirable engine for me compared to the sohc vtec version.

WTF up with these newbs anyhow... talking about lower compressions and blah blah blah. You basically have to rebuild the whole engine to get the big numbers, which includes dropping the CR, adding more fuel, retarding the timing..

I think the ZC is nice and all, but Id rather take a b16 or a d16 for the prices.
