i remember getting a good deal on it from melvin at knowledge... just some shop i deal with

yup i used blue leds.. but when it came to illuminating the pointer i wanted it to contrast.. so i left the top front two bulbs stock.. so the needles light up white and everything else is blue back lit LEDs.. looks great at night.. when i had the needles blue as well it was just a little too much for me.. ive been thinking about trying one of those kits that has the glowing needles but i dont know if i could commit to a color..

but dont the top bulbs make the blue less bright? when i put in my orange led's in the top lights made them seem really yellow and really showed the cold spots. so i killed them alltogether and now i cant see my needles, but my orange is a lil better.. what do you think i should do? for some reason i kinda think its the color. it seems as if white and blue are more alike (if you understand what im trying to get at) and the orange and white try to battle (that sounded like something a dungeons and dragons nerd would say )

nope i LOVE the way it is.. the blue over powers the white.. its JUST the needles that are white... the rest is blue as blue gets..

im glad it works out for you bro cuz mine sux fo sho. im thinking about just buying some new OEM bulbs and going back to that. or maybe blue.

how many extra LED's did you end up having to wire in when all was said and done (just in the gauge cluster)

3 extra i think.. maybe thats why my color is better?

trying to get a few new goodies going.. im almsot DONE the interior.. woot.. im really happy with how its coming.. now i just need to fab up some carbon fiber gauge and switch panels... i think its gonna look good..

thanks a lot man.. and yeah i really try to take my time.. some times i get a little obsessive.. like i was talking to eran on aim yesterday.. ive been trying for a few weeks now to get some down time so i could uninstall all my autometer gauges and have the bezels redone in black.. eran said just paint them.. and i understood his point of view.. but thats just not me.. i KNOW its more time and money to send them in and have them done.. but what i was telling him.. is i KNOW they will be PERFECT.. and well since i want to keep the car forever... its worth it.. so i really do know what you mean.. i try to really think things out before doing them so they are done right the first time.. but yeah thanks for the compliment..

y8 with a 70 shot.. and pretty much every bolt on.. once the motor blows it will be a swap with nitrous..

how you figure.. nitrous.. EVERY bolt on.. EVERY suspension mod... i feel that my car is actually weighed really well in regards to go and show.. i have no interest in swapping out a working motor for another motor.. once it blows it will more than likely be swapped.

werd.. i mean dont get me wrong.. its NOT fast.. but the suspension is great.. and the go is decent.. you have to figure.. even if you just do HP at the motor.. 128 stock.. + a 70 shot you are at close to 200 at the motor.. %15 driveline loss doesnt really apply to nitrous.. ive seen NX 50 shots make 50 at the wheels but even being SUPER conservative.. imo you are looking at at least 200 at the motor..
