i agree...skinnyjdawg said:I love it. Of course it would look better is it was black
thanks.. the cluster took a while to get lit nicely and evenly.. i bet if you used the leds i did it would work even with red..fubarshibby said:Very nice looking. I love the LED-lit gauges... I was trying to do that for a while, but with red instead, as red's my favorite color. But just my luck, red isn't the best for lighting... It has some of the crappiest range compared to any other color light. Oh well.
Once again, it looks great.
thanks.. i will probably get it painted soon and i considered a color change.. but i actually like the silver.. my sifes last car was a black one.. it happened to be a civic to and it was a b***h to keep clean..ImportFever96 said:Nice man... love it.. keep it up
i agree...
lol there is more to my interior than the gauges, but hey not everyone likes the same s**t.. so what can you do.. im getting the gauges redone by autometer with black bezels... they will match the rest of the interior much better. it will look better because they wont be like this polished chrome yelling "hey look at me" but besides that i have to tell you i LOVE my interior.. the seats are extremely comfy, seatbelts are great.. and i actually like the gauges..mint said:its nice but i really dont like the interier at all.. looks like the star trek enterprise with all that crap..
thanks man...mint said:yeh true not to everyones cup of tea. hey my props to you for doing this mad s**t its impressive indeed! ..

making the piece to fit in there was harder than installing it..i had to get it cut snug so it would hold itself in... then when i had to cut the holes centered without cracking the plastic was also a b***h....i have a canadian EL extra din slot coming.. eventually im going to use it to ad in a flip up monitor... but for now i may make a switch panel for the nitrous..mint said:And see those 3gauges where the headunit is meant to be.. how hard was that to install?..
the answer is so simple.. the 70 hp for $500 was a LOT better than the 40 hp for $2000+ kind of a no brainer if you ask me.. eventually this motor will blow up.. and at that point i will probably get a twin cam.. not becuase i feel its needed.. but really just becuase i think it will look better and be more "finished" probably a gsr motor.. but im going to keep the car forever.. so i do other s**t while im waiting.. thats all...BlackHope121 said:why you wont swap it is beyond me.. so nice but so sohc..
all in time man all in time.. just trying to secure all the lose ends.. pay attention to ALL the small detail.. like for example.. im removing all my gauges and sending them back to autometer to remove the polished bezels to replace them with black ones to flow with the interior more.. its all about little details like that.. plus i think i want to get all the trim VSM so i still have a little bit to go..BlackHope121 said:i see what your saying but a gsr is full time....full time go...i know you have the money. nitrous is part time ...
thank you thats very flattering.. i want to have some coverage soon but i know i have a handfull of lose ends to tie up before that.. i also need to adress the rims i think .. but all in time man... i think the car will be done in a year or less.. i really hope..BlackHope121 said:+ i think the engine is probally the only thing that holds you back from being in top magazines..
not trying to flatter..just reality.... especially after how much money youve put in your car..why wouldnt you be in a magazine..oc_civic said:all in time man all in time.. just trying to secure all the lose ends.. pay attention to ALL the small detail.. like for example.. im removing all my gauges and sending them back to autometer to remove the polished bezels to replace them with black ones to flow with the interior more.. its all about little details like that.. plus i think i want to get all the trim VSM so i still have a little bit to go..
