Well if you wanted you could sell some of the stuff it comes with, then buy the Hard Top.... Big addition that makes the car much better....

Hell if you could get all of the stock parts with it, you could basically start from scratch with some extra money.... ;)

i was thinking a lil about that hard top last nite. i like the way the cf looks, but its expensive. so i thoght fiberglass, but thats still a pretty penny. that and i would need to see a s2k with a hardtop in person (preferably in red too) to see if i even like it.

Trust me, I've seen the hardtops in person... They look amazing.... And you can always get the factory ones... The mugen doesnt save on that much weight, not worth the money.....

Well if you do get the car you have plenty of time ot find out what you want.... ;)

i dunno that is one choice, but still it wouldn;t touch my other dream.... 94 supra Rz stage 8 turbo...(1100+hp hell yes)
then i;d take a crx with a gsr and stage 2 turbo for like 500 hp. that would be glorious, spooges in pants... woops

That's the most retarded deal I've ever heard of. You're happy about paying $23k for a used 'salvaged' s2000.

Just FYI... salvaged s2000's go for as little as 14k with very low mileage... and yes I'm not just speaking out of my ass, they're out there if you start to look. 2nd, a new s2000 goes for 5k down and $500 a month for 5 years... add 2 years and you have a brand new 05 s2000... do the math man seriously. A person who sells his car, cannot get his money for parts back... thats just a given, if he wants money for the parts which doesnt seem like a whole lot, he should part-out and then sell to you.

Last of all... the payments should be the least of your worries, if your under 25 with a short driving history, your insurance could easily be $200-250/month... which makes your grand total roughly $700/month. Now I don't know about you, but for $700/month and $5k down I would be looking at M3's.

jus my 2 ;)

WOOT!

I might be getting his car!!! might

Thats if hes serious now (now that hes actually touching the lightning), but if he does go thru with it, he'll be selling it for 5K down, then $500 a month for 3 years! I wouldnt mind getting rid of gsr for that :P
