The paint was around $2500, the guys are the body shop hooked me up. We send them a lot of business so, when the time came for me to get my car painted they gave me a really good price. And as you can see the work is top notch.

I am selling this engine for $3900 without the KPRO, $4900 with the KPRO. I'm looking to upgrade to an R motor, but the engines are a long way away from arriving so I'm still going to slap this one in my car for the time being. I'd like to see how it preforms, and what if anthing is wrong witht the engine before I sell it.

Well, normally the KPRO is around $1400 because it includes an ECU. The reflash alone is $1000, and an ECU is around $3-500. So it's really a good price, not only that but I brand new Shift cables, shifter box, all the clips and hardware from Acura that comes with the engine. The swap is going to have a brand new Stage 4 clutch that I'll throw in for like $300 more.

If I get an offer in the next week or so I'll sell it, but otherwise it's going in my car. I'll just pull it out and sell it when the R's come in.

I like it, looks real clean and you def did all the right things. You even pretty much stripped the motor down which impresses me the most because alot of people dont do that and they just tape everything up.

One question though, why paint the whole car and do the roof black? Just wondering not knocking you or anything that just had me guessing.

Thanks for clearing it up. I will be adding a Carbon hood and hatch in the future.

Update for the night, sorry for the blurry pics its pitch black outside at night so bare with me.. 8)

The glass was installed today, new windsheild and side glass. The rear glass was crazy expensive, like $400 so I figured I could go without it. Also, I installed the rear Type R spoiler.

Inside Finished:

Reasembling the engine, I've got to resurface the flywheel before I install the clutch so I took the trans off.

I'm going to try and get the engine bolted in this weekend, but if the machine shop cant get the flywheel back to me tomorrow afternoon its not going to be until the end of next week for the full install. I'm pretty excited that I'm close to getting in this thing and ripping it.

Weird, I didnt know that. I'm sorry if I've descraced the DAP Civic's. To be honest I really didnt like the color of it anyway.
