does it matter that the other car doesn't know I'm racing them?

Just raced a 5spd cobalt SS sedan , beat it by a car and a 1/4. a*****e must have just bought it because he raced a 7th gen ex in front of me, and then I flew around caught him at the following light.

Me 3" SRI base hp 160
Him stock? SS sedan base hp 173

I raced a Probe GT with a KLZE and beat it buy about a car and a half with a fat friend in my car!!!
also took a V6 percidia the other night, for some reason theres a lot of mazdas around here!

1. This damn bird.. it took me like 4 hours to get all the parts out of my grill. (ugh so bloody)
2. This dodge neon with LOUD ass muffler. Really funning because I could hear the car maxing in the redline and it took the person so long to shift lol
3. Old lady with one of those power chairs. It had NOS and a supercharger with a SR20DET. LMFAO

yeah, they're real quick for just 200 hp. I raced one with an exhaust and possibly intake the other night and he hung surpisingly well.

02-04 type s was ~201hp (180-ish WHP)
05-06 type s had 211hp (184-ish WHP)
the stock exhaust is awesome on the S
but with the CAI it was about 195WHP (according to the DYNO I saw with the CAI)
so
195WHP and I spent about 15.7k for a used car (50k miles), and about $60 for CAI (eGay) + K&N Filter I could have beat a turbod D haha.

but now that I have a D, I want to do a K20A swap.

ive recently found out that street racing is bad,just joking around with a guy at a stop light,he has a civic with a h22a with a turbo,me=jack s**t but an intake,im poor,joking around for about a block and a half,get pulled over,put in the back of a police car for an hour and a half and now have to go to court for "street racing on a highway" all that for messing around,i hate cops ps. it was on a main road around campus not a damn highway

So the other week, I was driving through town with my g/f and another friend. Pulled up to a light to next to an old white monte carlo coupe. Had 3 people in it as well with a girl driving with a guy in the passenger and girl in the back. And no joke, can you say trailer trash?

But anyways, I wasn't looking at them meaning to race. I have a tendency to watch the opposite light to know when I'm gonna get a green so I slowly let the clutch out and start going when the other light goes yellow. On green I just go normal not thinking of anything and next thing I hear is the monte carlo's tires squeel and I knew it was on. Luckily I was still in first so I punched it and stopped around 70 and was walkin em the whole time.

Then she did the ricer fly-by and slammed on the brakes about 50 feet ahead of me and cruised on.
