I think you're talking about the meat. I'm pretty sure it's beef but I know they also put pork in it. They marinate the meat for a few hours before cooking the kaw. It actually taste really good and alot of my friends that aren't familiar with Southeast Asian food really like the stuff.

Haha, those are boiled eggs that were also marinated for a while to get that color. The eggs are the best part imo
