i wonder why it dosnt exist in japan?
i wonder why their is no "USDM" movement in japan also.....
Your reading comprehension skills are awesome....
JDM = JAPANESE DOMESTIC MARKET
JDM /= JAPANESE AFTERMARKET STYLING
And in fact you are wrong about the USDM movement not being there.... It isn't called the USDM movement, but look at how popular American cars are over there and look at how they are styled... Is that not a USDM style? It may not be called "USDM style", but it is there....
It doesn't exist in Japan because, you are exactly right about one thing, it is unnecesary there.... The stocks cars have a lot of parts that we look for.... There is no need to mod for it... But we DO have to mod our cars for that.... Whether it be for convenience, comfort, handling, performance, exterior bling, or any other thing we choose to do....
You cannot compare the Japanese culture, cars or otherwise, with American culture... It is so different there is no way to do it properly....

the US tuning scne made JDM style up. i have read in so many magazines when they interview the person building the car, they ask them what their goal and vision for the car was during the buildup....and they always say. "well i wanted to mod my car how they do it in japan with clean lines etc".
thats such BS. no one mods their cars like that. if u want to put stock japanese parts on your car and say its modded fine. but dont call it JDM style. its only a style to you.
So what, a couple of idiots stated something that was wrong, that makes the whole styling scene wrong? We could say that about any profesion, scene, club, nation.... We could say that about all American soldiers just because of how you are not actually reading what I post and comprehending it.... But we don't... Why? Because most people try not to judge the masses by a single person....
