well it needs to go away becasue "JDM" and "clean mix about as well as oil and water.
to me "clean" just means the car has no exterior work done to it. or if it does it flows well...there isnt a lot of breaks in the lines of the car.
"JDM" means a stock honda integra i see every day.
Well big whoop now you know....

Now you can stop bitching about it everytime you read it in a post... :???:

Read through my post again... JDM and Aftermarket styles are TOTALLY different.... You are the one missing the point....

DOMESTIC MARKET DOES NOT EQUAL AFTERMARKET!!! Get that into your memory banks.... PLEASE
what part of their is no such thing as "JDM style" dont u understand? its all a made up fashion trend in america. if a stock look is a style, then i agree with you. if you like to "mod" your car to look like it just rolled off the assembly line, than cool. your car

Yes, there is a thing as JDM Style.... It is rampant in America.... It is NOT around in Japan, different cultures are different in many aspects.... Its as simple as that....

Why do the Japanese need to do what we do with THEIR oem parts? They obviously were given a better platform, we were given dog s**t. We slowly build our cars to look good but close to stock because for the soul reason it LOOKS good. Your missing the point, just because a trend is hot one place does not mean it's hot in other places.

i wonder why it dosnt exist in japan?

i wonder why their is no "USDM" movement in japan also.....

the US tuning scne made JDM style up. i have read in so many magazines when they interview the person building the car, they ask them what their goal and vision for the car was during the buildup....and they always say. "well i wanted to mod my car how they do it in japan with clean lines etc".
thats such BS. no one mods their cars like that. if u want to put stock japanese parts on your car and say its modded fine. but dont call it JDM style. its only a style to you.

Your reading comprehension skills are awesome....

JDM = JAPANESE DOMESTIC MARKET
JDM /= JAPANESE AFTERMARKET STYLING

And in fact you are wrong about the USDM movement not being there.... It isn't called the USDM movement, but look at how popular American cars are over there and look at how they are styled... Is that not a USDM style? It may not be called "USDM style", but it is there....

It doesn't exist in Japan because, you are exactly right about one thing, it is unnecesary there.... The stocks cars have a lot of parts that we look for.... There is no need to mod for it... But we DO have to mod our cars for that.... Whether it be for convenience, comfort, handling, performance, exterior bling, or any other thing we choose to do....

You cannot compare the Japanese culture, cars or otherwise, with American culture... It is so different there is no way to do it properly.... :???:

So what, a couple of idiots stated something that was wrong, that makes the whole styling scene wrong? We could say that about any profesion, scene, club, nation.... We could say that about all American soldiers just because of how you are not actually reading what I post and comprehending it.... But we don't... Why? Because most people try not to judge the masses by a single person....

Then why waste your time posting the questions....

Again... The JDM style is basically a different name for the clean style, that just happens to incorporate a lot of Japanese NON-aftermarket parts....

Different bumpers w/ Molding
SiR front lip
different headlights
different wheels
different engine
