i vote pickin up an extra head, full build on the head, thin head gasket, and a little bit of nitrous.
yea, that'll be the more expensive way to go, but i think i'll be happier with that setup, tho it will make more power with a turbo, the NA in my opinion will be more fun, and im sure i'll like that more.

i dont think it'd be more expensive if you do a cylinder head vs a turbo setup. are you comparing a cheap turbo kit to a quality head build? if u compare a head build to an SSAC kit, then just get some OBX cams and have the head hot tanked. if you compare a peakboost kit, then get Crower Stage2 Cams, Crower Valvetrain, and GOOD head work.

:word: i vote on getting a spare head and doing work to it. I think you would like the n/a power better.

no, i was comparing a full on quality head build to a quality manifold and turbo. not an SS kit.

a quality turbo and manifold is pretty expensive. then you factor everything from a wastegate and the intercooler to the charge piping and downpipe. Then you're exhaust would need to be upgraded which would suck. i just think it'll end up costing the same as an all motor build.

a good manifold costing ~$500* and a good GT35R Ball Bearing Turbo costing around $1300.*

Crower stage 2 cams, about 400
Springs and retainers-400
head- i saw one fs on hondatech for 300
port polish-i think i heard crankshaft grinding does it for 450?
i also saw a guy selling a head, ported and polished with a 3 angle valve job for 1000.
head gasket-90
yea it will be less to go na, im sure i missed stuff. like other maintenance parts to replace while the motor is apart.
also thinking high compression valves-240

so i think with all of that considered, this quote is null and void:
yea, that'll be the more expensive way to go.
you've said that the NA setup would cost less and that you would be happier with the setup....sounds like a win/win to me.
