i remember talking to this guy last year at nopi. He had a ls/vtec NA EF and he was running 13.5's. I was so impressed and thought that was really fast. Now 13.5's are still quick but it just doesnt get me all excited like it used to.awesome times

yea that is a pretty cool quote, i think it is cool that you are building your car for road race, but it is always cool to know that your car is pretty quick in the 1/4. Knowing that you are faster than alot of RWD american cars. I'd like to run 12's in the future, on street tires, NA. but ill need to spend a good amount of money.well 11's are the s**t now. and i definately dont see me drag racing my way to 11s anytime soon. drag racing is pretty lame to me. 3 years ago i drove my integra and i definately didnt have drag racing in mind when i was building that car.
i heard an interesting quote the other day: Drag racing is for fast cars, Road Racing is for fast drivers. i liked that.

well im not really building it for road race. its gonna be a street car. It'd be nice to road race it, and i'd prefer to do that then drag race it. i do plan on concentrating a lot more on the chassis/suspension once this motor runs though. i dont think it'll get 12s on the street tires i plan on running with the suspension i plan on running. im sure it'll run like a 12 second car. but i dont think i'll be able to trap those times at the track in its everyday form. I think the suspension will be to stiff and the tires wont flex enough for me to obtain the so very important 60 foot time i would need.
