mah new 99 gsr

well... new to me atleast. i bought it at auction, it was a Oregon State University Federal Credit Union repo which means some bum in corvallis couldnt pay for it so now it's mine

i sold my 94 mustang gt, my gf's bought my old civic, so now we have matching white honda's... aint it cute?

i'm ditching the tails for stockies, the wale tail is going too (prolly to be replaced by a type-r spoiler), the wheels will being changed evantually too, and those orange lights up front.... well most people know my
stance on orange lights
modlist that i know of
magnaflow exhaust
front and rear upper and lower tie bars (rear lower is a DC sports)
weapon r intake with HKS filter
clarion cd player
kaminari spoiler (soon to be removed)
altezza's (soon to be removed)
voxx 17" wheels
H&R springs
some type of adjustable shock (help me identify)
crossed drilled roters up front


it has adjustable shocks but i dont know what kind... so if anybody could identify them from the last picture i'd greatly appreciate it, i know it's not much to work with....

I don't really mind the wheels, but like you said, the wheels can go, and I don't like amber on white, I think clears would look much better.

Nice pick up. All it needs is a different set of rims and an ITR wing. As for the amber bumpers I pesonally love how it looks on your car, but since its your ride do what you gotta do. BTW how much did you get it for?

all in all it's costing me $8,500..... for a 99 gsr with 70k miles i dont think that's horrible... it's over a grand less then wholesale kelly blue book.... and honda/acura's arent easy to buy for under wholesale bbk...

Hey Todd i think those are KYB AGX shocks. They made some with an adjutor on top like that with only 4 settings. But yeah that would be my guess.

thats sweet dude, nice pickup....the wheels arent bad, it will look way better w/out the spoiler, and the ambers too....but its a real nice ride

get a pic of the back ... if they are the clear housing altezzas with the 2 reds and the backup personally i think they look dope on white. Anyways car looks really nice and i like the rims too.

If you wanna get that bad boy tinted come down to ca, ill holler at you when they work out all the details but a shop here is offereing 5 windows for $160. Thread in nor cal forum about it.

pretty nice minus the wing and tezzers but I must say I'm super jealous, a 99 gsr with all that would go for about 21-23 000 up here.... its very very sad

the wing fades/grows on me.. it all depends on my mood... but i think a type r wing would be just a little less cop magnet....ish? and same with the tezza's. i dont think it looks horrible, just not necissarily my style.

i want to put a type r spoiler, the all red tails with the white reverse lights, gunmetal rims with polished lip, and black signal lights up front, then i should be sattisified... and prolly a tint too
