and i dont agree with rice = show over function... my tezza's function just as well (if not better) then any OEM or JDM tails out there.. yet most people consider them the ultimate rice.... so there's one HUGE flaw to your eqation bro

if anything JDM hurts functionability... lets not forget that a CTR still runs 15's and is anything but fast... and the only thing that makes it quicker then our civics is the motor... it's JDM tails, JDM headlights, JDM corners etc etc etc dont do jack s**t for it..... JDM is just overpriced show over function... including the motors... people spending $2k for a JDM H22 to replace their USDM H22 for a whopping 10 hp increase... lets break that down.... that's $200 per hp... wow... that's just horrible

congrats man, awesome car.. glad you took off the spoiler... i've always had a thing for integras without spoilers. but i also agree with melt: making a ricer sleeper would kick some ass... i've been meaning to do it with a 91 hatch... altezzas, bubbly tint, smiley ball on antenna, spinner hubs, 43721980473120947120973401 shot of nos...

The first few lines of that paragraph itself explains why the equation is true.

Adding on huge body kits with ducts and scoops everyewhere, large muffler tips despite small piping, dropping the car so low and unproperly making it bounce and jiggle up and down the streets, running on huge rims that the car has barely enough power to turn.... those are clear examples of why the show aspect is clearly overwhelming the function. And that was the orginal meaning of rice.

The term rice is used vaguely now and anything can be called rice, that's why I try to refrain myself from using that term. Huge body kits, huge shiny rims, and extra ducts/fins etc.. are in my opinion just tacky. There's some good example of good nice looking cars that have exterior modifications such as child racer's ride that I like.

They do the same thing. Fine if they came from facotry stock.

Do anybody have any problems with their stock taillights, no. Do you argue that people put on Altezza because they want thier tail lights to emit brighter and clearer light or do you agree that the stockies does the job fine as it is?

If I remember when the clear taillight fad was in, people were getting into accidents and at fault because the clear tail lights was not emitting enough of the red brake lights... or so says the cops. And that is purely a good example of show over function.
