not too bad at all..

if it were me, id get the y8/z6 manifold, different fogs and a FMIC...

but overall pretty nice.

FMIC may be coming in the future, but the side mount kinda gives it a sleeperish look, the only way you could tell its turboed is from the bov....i don't see much of a point in getting the y8 manifold, i mean, na people upgrade to the y8 because it is less restrictive than the y7 manifold.....but with boost, its not gonna matter much because you arent' sucking in air, your pushing it in. i mean if i had money for anything, then i would, but its kinda tight right now, and i'm just glad i was able to get everything for the turbo install.

you could do a FMIC and paint it black, ive seen it done before, looks real sleepish. As far as the y8 manifold, just might help to make a cleaner install & you would notice a difference, but like you said the important thing is just to be up and boosting, these are merely recommendations for later on.

Nice s**t yo :thumbs up I f**kin love my turbo D :D I'm like at 186hp to the crank and like 173whp. When I went to the dyno to tune I left my sheet there :oops: yes, I forgot and now I always try to remember my numbers

don't listen to some of these haters. They might hate and try to talk s**t but they're wishing they could be boosted or as quick as us :lol:

I've had my turbo D for like a year with no problem :what: stomped B-series, k-series and will walk a H if you bring one to me ;)

well put biz....i don't tend to hate on other people, if i do, i include constructive critism......its when other people say s**t about my ride for no reason is when i get nasty. you don't have to like me, but at least respect me and i'll return the favor., like detained civic, he has a riced out body kit with some ugly 18's.....and BBProductions, i'm not as offended by your post, but i could have my car as clean as yours, with paint matched intake and valve cover, but i'm focusing more on the go part, than the show part....i don't have much show in the first place, everybody hates my stickers, lol

lol, i originally planned on removing the type r stickers after the turbo, but then i thought the same thing you thought. i have rims, the ones in my avy, and its lowered on omni's, i had to raise it for the winter and the 14 inch wheels, but it will be slammed soon. i'm gonna get all the lips, sides, moldings, etc. paint matched when i get some money also

looks really cool, only thing you shouldnt have done is write on your hood with your finger, that can and DID leave scratches.

and there would have been a benefit to the z6 or y8 head swap, they flow much better than the y7. just a heads up. coulda helped. but still cool none the less. now clean her up!!

looks pretty interesting... i thought at a point it was a Y8 but im sure it will come out great
maybe beef up the internals later on and go for more boost

The Y7 rods are identical to the Z6 and Y8 rods. In fact, it has the same part # (13210-PM6-000). This is also the same rod in the D16A6. And I've seen a TON of people boost these engines to 15psi without internal work. As long as it's tuned properly, he'll be golden.

Dude if you can't take critism that don't post....next time I will turn it down a little for you, I didn't know you had such soft feelings. I am glad you don't like my car, thats fine I don't really ask people if they like it. I have been posting old pics to, I no longer have 18's and a little d-series in the bay. At one point I rocked 18's for the shows but I have since sold them and right now I am rocking jack stands :lol: To put it softly to you so you don't get your feelings hurt, I would redo the piping, using exhaust piping is fine but use some cupplings instead of widening the exhaust pipe and welding it. You are right in some aspect with the y7 head however the y8 flows better and with pushing more air end this is a good thing. But a mini-me swap isn't all like a ls/vtec as the y8 vtec doesn't quite work like a b16vtec, I would still use a y8 head for the flow. But this is critizm take it as you will...I am not here to make friends just to give advise or opinion and sorry that is was bad but I am not going to lie to you. Post some pics of when you are done maybe I just don't see your plan and need better pics. Thanks

true, but i don understand how you can look at and oor have your car in that state, i mean its turning into a junker, just do things properlly and you will get 100x more respect. i know dozens of cars personal that are boosted and look mint, interor, exteriror, and engine bay - even the home made diy boost kits.

dirty engine, electrical tape everywhere, missing heater controls, some sort of cotrols "cut" into place beside your head unit etc... just clean it up, it doncost hundreds of dollars to clean a car.. just patience

still props for doing it yourself... now just finish it up nicely

i stand corrected......i was thinking b7 rods for some reason (it was really late when i posted :lol: )
