true, but i don understand how you can look at and oor have your car in that state, i mean its turning into a junker, just do things properlly and you will get 100x more respect. i know dozens of cars personal that are boosted and look mint, interor, exteriror, and engine bay - even the home made diy boost kits.

dirty engine, electrical tape everywhere, missing heater controls, some sort of cotrols "cut" into place beside your head unit etc... just clean it up, it doncost hundreds of dollars to clean a car.. just patience

still props for doing it yourself... now just finish it up nicely

I see people agree with me and you were getting mad at me cause I said the same things.

Maybe he's not out to impress any of you. I for on don't care what anyone thinks about my car. My style isn't to impress anyone, some of you might be like that but not me :D I don't care if my paint gets scratched or if there's some petty s**t missing, I don't even car if my engine bay gets dirty. If you want to think that you or your friends are better than me because your rides our cleaner that's fine with me, go ahead and say that. Just some people have other priorities with there cars, mine happens to be going fast while looking like I can't ;) Maybe one of these days I'll do the little body work it needs and paint it but untill then I'm happy with what I have. Those of you might say, "well, you have a old shitty car anyway" :retard: I don't only have one car dude and if it gets dings or scratches it's because I drive it and s**t will happen regardless even if I decide to write on the hood or something. That's petty s**t that doesn't bother me :D but everyone has there own taste, shoot yourself if it's rice  jp

you have to admit tho, he has one hell of a sleeper and it actually looks good :thumbs up

I never realized there's so many haters on this board. He posted this cause he wanted to show his work, and instead of congratulating him on making progress you flame him. If you don't have nothing good to say just ignore the thread.

when you make a post you better be able to take negative critism as well as positive... if you cant, then dont post anything

this isnt barney land or mr rogers neighborhood where stupid s**t is applauded for "effort"

i dont care what it is your posting, you need to be able to take the good AS WELL AS the bad

seriously, do people not know how to buff out scratches?

slick rick: i do take the good and the bad, people say stuff about my type r stickers all the time remember....there's a difference though.....

oMG look at his mad JDM type ARGGHHH stickers, faggot, lose the effing stickers....compared to....
seriously, those type r stickers throw your car off, otherwise, its really clean

both crticize my type r stickers, but one i don't take offense to

seriously though, if ur gonna critcize my car, provide constructive critism, don't come out calling me a retard because my car is dirty, there is no need for that.

gsr swapped hatches will not walk me...it will be close....i will have more torque down low, and up high.....i know my car is a mess, i should've added that in the original post, but i'm not done yet, it looks hellish now, but after a wash, and cleaning up my interior and putting everythign in, it will look 100x's better....i will surely keep this thread updated....i will post up the dyno, and hopefully have a vid

first of all, with boost, there is no need for a mini me swap, thats like takin an LS engine, slappin on a vtec head, then boosting it, doesnt do much other than wasting money and having to deal with vtec+boost.. second, my heater controls are relocated down underneath by the cup holders, third of all, i'm making a custom mount for my BOOST gauge that is going into that open spot....ecu is lying on the ground because if you didn't read, i'm still working on my car, it still needs to get dyno tuned, and the ecu is there because i still have to install my ignition harness for my emanage....those rusty ass parts serves there purpose, and what the hell about writing on my hood? are there really gonna be scratches?? oh noez, i better take it to a shop and get it fixed!!!!!......if there are any scratches, IF, i can buff them out dude, chill out man, stop hatin......know the story before you bust on me NOOB
thats how you tell them.....
but nice, how does theboost feel, and was it worth it...lol but nice

of course it was worth it, lol, i only drove it once in boost, at 5psi, well, more like 4 cuz of teh intercooler just to test it out, but i'm not driving it until i get it tuned, but i expect it to feel a lot better after i get it tuned and everything.

Constructive Critzism, If you relocate the heater controls like you say you are make sure you feel the hole were the use to be with something. Make sure when you remount the heater controls it looks like they belong there. I don't like the intercooler piping for $1500 on a kit you could have got better piping, I think Jegs sell universal piping you can cut and use connectors. I don't like the side mount because they are restrictive and you can't boost to high with a side mount or you may run to hot. If you want to go sleeper then get a FMIC and paint it black. I also don't like the controller beside the radio, it looks out of place, maybe if you cover the holes on the top and bottom then it will look like it belongs there. I also think you should use a y8,z6 head. You could easily attain 230whp on a good tune on stock internals. I love that you are going turbo, boost for the win. At one time I had a turbo setup for my d-series but decided to go a different route and sold both the setup and motor. I use to be a professional detailer and seeing dirty hoods getting wrote on, true you can buff out scratches, but everytime you buff a car the buffing takes off a layer of clear plus there will always be small swirl marks unless you spend a lot of time getting the swirls out. You have a good start but still a lot of work to go, keep us updated.
