I think its really hard to get green card
the only ways I know
1) there is world wide lottery the winnners of which get green card
2) marry US citizen
3) be born in USA
4) if u are PhD or some famous athlete, artist etc
5) become a refugee

if it was easy to immigrate to US my family would do so

I'm in Canada. The quality of life in Canada is 10 times better than in the U.S. WAY lower unmeplyment rates, more affordable housing. Plus we have all the resources we need. If I were Mexican and had to choose b/w america and canada. I'd go canada. If you go to the Eastern provinces thn yu may have a hard time, but Albertans are crwaling in money from oil and are the richest region in the world except some fo those saudi countries. Where in Canada are you?

Alberta has the lowest unemployment rates in Canada but here in Toronto they are pretty high
but no way I would move to Edmonton....may be if I had great job offer from there
plus in US taxes are smaller and salaries are the same but they are in American dollars not in canadian
we have lower rate of crimes and free health care
so Canada and US has its pros and cons

what do black people have to do with illegal mexican people? I dont understand why that many people are complaining, they arent even on the employment statistics because they arent in the labor force. Also, like someone said earlier, i dont see many caucasian people willing to mow lawns or do the heavy labor. These people are just trying to live, they mean no harm. But i do agree, some mexicans need to get out of the US, the ones that steal, or do nothing but bother people, but not all mexicans are like that. I dont know where i was going with all of this but the black thingj ust confused me
