i agree man... japanese loves bodykits, neon lights, wings, halos and all the good stuff. they like to show off speed and style... if u see their cars, they mostly have body kits and stuff and also they actually have money to paint their kits unlike some ppl who just buys crappy fiber glass bodykits from ebay (wel there are some people) and leave them unpainted...SXE-10 said:the Supra is JDM. JDM=bling bling. It also runs 11.2@214km/h
The US has the whole whats "JDM" thing all messed up bro. "JDM" is not civics with small 15/16in wheels, Cf hoods, lowered and amber corners. No sir...shiet i have never even seen a civic with amber corners to be honest with you!! Most (all?) hondas here in japan are what the US considers "rice". The body kits, loud paint, graphics, huge wheels, neon lights.
thanks for the compliment on the photos.
im really not sure where this whole "no body kit, stock look, amber cornered, 15in wheel," trend started. i mean who came up with this? what civic in japan did all this originate from? its like a make believe trend or something. there is nothing special about stock cars in japan. nothing. to have an entire movement dedicated to looking like a stock cvic ferio off the assembly line floor is mind boggling! LOLguwakjai010 said:i agree man... japanese loves bodykits, neon lights, wings, halos and all the good stuff. they like to show off speed and style... if u see their cars, they mostly have body kits and stuff and also they actually have money to paint their kits unlike some ppl who just buys crappy fiber glass bodykits from ebay (wel there are some people) and leave them unpainted...

i didnt understand or think any of this was true until i actually came and lived in japan. before i came here i had a EK hatch with a B16 all "JDM'd up. or so i thought. i couldn't wait to see civics and integras modded just like mine, with spoon wheels, and mugen this, and mugen that.
but i saw none. the hondas that i did see looked just like the ones in america at shows. nice paint jobs, kitted, huge wheels, air suspension, completely re done interiors....i was like wtf?
lol yea i actually love how body kits and stuff look cuz its ur own style plus its not always all looks.. there are stuff under the hood and also suspensions done... thats whats so great about cars wit nice kits and stuff. nothin wrong wit JDM but to me it almost look like stock and u pay soo much more money forit... but hey if u think its worth it then its koo.. as long it looks clean and not all nasty wit unpainted stuff and all...SXE-10 said:im really not sure where this whole "no body kit, stock look, amber cornered, 15in wheel," trend started. i mean who came up with this? what civic in japan did all this originate from? its like a make believe trend or something. there is nothing special about stock cars in japan. nothing. to have an entire movement dedicated to looking like a stock cvic ferio off the assembly line floor is mind boggling!
