I didn't say that I was a baller but civics cost more then neons and also civics have a very good reputation. The only poeple that I know that have neons are poor people. That's just my personal experience. I wasn't trying to insult anybody with my comment but you obviously took it to heart, I don't see why tho since you don't even have a car posted.
Mitsubishi and Dodge might have turbod other cars but not neons and lancers that were just regular 4 cylinder commuter cars.

So I compared a 2005 Civic and a 2005 Neon on KBB just out of curiosity. This is what I got:
Neon Civic
$13,513 $17,028 -that just proves my point that lower income people buy neons
Engine ECB VTEC
Horsepower 132 127 -neons have more horsepower

Civic has a lot of features like ABS brakes, AC, and CD player standard where those things do not come standard with the Neon. Also the Civic has a better rating by JD power, and has a better overall reputation. If I would have to chose between a Neon and a Civic I would go with the Civic.

if u r any type of a genuine car enthusiast u woudl realize that the srt4 is a fast car..

mini S got s/c also costs close to 30...

srt4 cost about 24 from the factory and would whoop those cars in a heart beat...sure it would be tough for srt4 to beat the evo and sti for sure from a dig..but it has a good chance from a roll...

I do realize that the SRT4 is a fast car, that's not what I was talking about and if you read my previous comments you would know that. But you were too fast to try to get back with a mean ass post instead paying attention to the post.
My point is that, just like you said "...yes they dont have resale value liek civics nor r neons as dependable...". I can't help but compare the SRT4 to the regular neons cuz they look the same.

There is no competition. If I wanted to go fast now, sell for SHYT later, I would buy a neon..........err SRT-4.

Honestly though, they HAD to strengthen that motor's internals. EVERY SINGLE NEON MOTOR HAS BLOWN ASS SINCE THE VEHICLES INCEPTION. they are NOTORIOUS for blowing headgaskets like whores blow johns. Those motors are SHYT, sans SRT-4.

The SRT-4 will hold its value A LOT more than the other neons though.

And as much as I dont agree with the way rolakers brought it up, its true. Neons are for poor people. Thats who they market to, the lower class. You can deny it, just like most of you deny a civic is a girls car (mostly girls drive it, and honda markets civics to women), but its true. =)

and u dont notice the difference between a neon and srt4..well then i would have to say ur blind..because there are clearly a lot of physical difference from the front to back to thru the grill and under the hood and the interior...EVERYTHING....

ur jumping from neons ot srt4's..
i can gurantee u the value of srt4's will hold much better than civics...
go look that up...with ur 130hp beast of a resale value monster civic...

fo sho, dodge has been doing it for a LONG time, hence the 87 dodge caravan that my buddy has that runs mid 13's, or the omni that he has in the 11's, honda choice to not turbo is just that THEIR choice. sure i'd rather have my civic over a neon but thats just because of the styling aspect because i didn't choose it for speed

... and yeah, that whole poor people statement was very ignorant. Driving a Civic doesn't exactly put you above any of the other econo boxes on the street :lol:

haha i liek both cars =)

PS. the srt-4 doesnt have a neon motor in it. It has a beefy 2.4l motor. You never hear of turbo neon owners blowing thier motors like honda owners do. Srt-4 engines was made for turbos.

how are you so positive that SRT4's arent dependable.................? OEM turbo upgrade options UNDER factory warrenty and a 21K brand new price is what everyone would want... 197hp for 23+ is pretty out there. :lol:

I must stand up and speak being my brother own`s an srt-4 with stage 1 turbo upgrade :-D ,I dont know why anyone would say these bad boys are slow man,I have tooken my brother srt-4 out many a night to go beat down on some stang`s :-D and it like taking candy from a baby now that he did his turbo upgrade to stage 1 the little monster machine is pulling on evo`s now being yes it is actually neon because the body are the same but the engine have no match come on its not a poor people car it was made for those who wanted to go fast now the cheap and easy way now,i`ve heard that they start to break alot at around 80,000 miles but,I cant verify that to me the srt-4 is the s**t man ,I wouldnt mind owning one at all that thing is a monster straight from factory.
