I got my HID's from Black Sheep Performance and they good. I can't say how they compare to Phillips, but good for the money I spent. Although I would love to have a cuttoff like the pics, the HID's in my stock housings aren't too bad. I have to say it's pretty much the same light pattern as stock halogens.

They were taken in a undercover parking lot..but it was pretty bright..will post some night shots tonight hopefully..

Yup, you need to find a completly dark street with no overhead lamps.

Haha my bro got jealous of mine and decided to go retro himself....the reason it doens't look bright cuz the bulbs are new and they need to broken in....they look yellowish compared to mine, cuz mine are broken in...last nite i took a pic of his with my cam phone...hope it works...

looks good.. always want retro but the price for it is way out of my range.. seems like price is going up since everyone wants to do retros. what are the projectors from? from the looks of it.. the setup ran like about 500 total for parts.. $100 for labor? that is a hell of a good deal..

headlight: jdm civic type r headlight style
shroud: valeo A4
ballasts: panasonic

Yup since the moderator (mrquattro) was local he hooked me up with a nice price.

looks real nice with those housings....I have the same ones on my four door....I'll try to post pics......I have Maxima HID's with BMW X5 projectors....as I mentioned before I'll try post day and night pics soon....props....
