looks good, my friend made his from tsx lights

600 bucks seems like a lot to me. ive seen retro fits like that for 200
maybe because where I live? but either way good s**t
i highly doubt it is 200.. if u know anyone dumb enough to sell it that cheap. PM me. just the projectors alone will cost over 200. that doesnt include the shroud, hid bulbs, ballast, wires for h4 conversion. all that will cost at least 400. on top of that there is a bunch of labor.

is that valeo h7 from the audi or just aftermarket? i remember audi have valeo projectors.

Do u have any pics against a wall?? can u even see the road? those are very purpleish aren't they?
we can see the ropad just fine thank u very much...
pu tmy car and ur car next to each other...and ask some1 what looks nicer and u will have ur answer...
in real life ofcourse...pics wont do them justice...:nono:

some people can;t even tell that mine isn't retro fitted..
i have said this before..different kelvin temp will look diff if they r made by diff companies..
there's a handful of companies that make hid's that stay true to their colors..
i have mine over over a year for sure..not once has some1 complained about my lights blinding them or anything of the sort..
infact its the benzes and beemas that blind me...

u can get projectors for about $100..
shrouds...u can get shyt at ikea for liek $20 to make shrouds urself..there's how to i believe in the how to section on this...
bulbs are usually separate and yes they cost money..but if u have hid u can reuse urs..but for that u will need the conversion...
it depends where u get ur merchandise from..cause sometimes u get lucky...
and as far as i know any ballast will do...

if u do it urself...u spend about $2-300...

It's just the inner engineer coming out in me, but if they could push it back a little farther into the reflector it would look much more well integrated. But hey, I still think it looks badass. :thumbs up

Yeah its just that pushing the projector further back would make it stick out of the headlight..would be a big no no..

gj another retroed civic...but if you got the whole kit for $600 including labor, you got good deal

looks like
DOT Valeo moded $175 easy
A4 shrouds $40 - 55
HID Ballast/bulbs $250 - 275
Labor $200 - 400

If he got H4/9003 wiring harness to go along with it.. it's fairly good price..

From I have been doing retro's for years from myself and for others you will not .. repeate not get retroed done yourself ror $200-300...

$100 Projectors? what E55 old bmw projectors? any projectors will run you $150 - 400

S2K = $300 easy, TSX $200, E55 Bixenon (maxima/5 series) $200 easy, a4 h7/d2s valeo $175 + DOT, Clear lense higher price. Q45 = $400 - 500 easy....

shrouds? you make it yourself well it will still cost you more than $20.00 and a lot of patients and hard work, if you want to buy it... it will cost you over $40 + shipping... A4's run $45, E55 runs $80+ E46's runs 60+ but all depends if it's single or bixenon...

HID Kit, if you already have rebased or aftermarket HID Kit, yes you can buy a converter to D2S, which costs $40 + shipping...and thatn you have to buy either Phillips or Osram's OEM bulbs $55 - $100 depending if you want used or new, or $200 + for Phillips 6000K..

Either way if you already had the HID Kit, or you need to buy new one, well you already invested money for your retro, some people paid $300 + for rebased HID Kit.

So if you think you can have a whole retro done for 2-3bills... think again..

oh you also need wiring harness with relay, if you want bi-xenon you'll need to either buy the harness $100 or make your own, about $30 and a lot a lot of hours or work.. ...

good luck =)

Right, but read what you posted... you can buy projectors, and shrouds.. or custom make it.. sounds like planning of a retro, and no you can not do it for $200 - 300, if have the kit yes, but think... you already spent $200 + on HID kit, either way you'll finish it up for $500 - 600 on a retro..
