MY led cluster what i did 99-00

I ordered leds and tried to get my cluster blue but I could never match the #194 blub color to the #74 bulbs colors. I ordered my LEDs from http://www.autolumination.com/. They were super fast and cheap

Which LEDs did you order?
for 74 there are 5 choices... from Tripower (I think there too focused) to Superstar (To Wide)
for the 194 there are 5 choices from Super Star to Super Nova.


For the needles Look what I found. I am thinking Orange or Red

UPDATE:

ok i got my blue led today super fast shipping i order them saturday got them today! it looks good, i can see the hot/cold spots but think i dont need to add a extra led.i painted the top bulbs red so the needle would shine red and it works!

i barley drive this car it just sits in the garage.

That looks pretty freaking sick.....dang....reminds me a lot of the MKIV Jetta/GTI clusters...and those are my favorite ones.......i cannot express how much I like the way that looks.....the red needles just really set it off.

Did you remove that blue filter from the top of the cluster..? What kind of paint did you use..?

Ditto on the top part of the cluster... I want my needles to light up like that, that looks awesome... I might have to switch over to blue instead of the red...

for some reason it looks red in the picture but i cant see it when i look at it looks more pink..lol

yes i cut out the blue part so it would shine threw. on one bulb i painted it with a red marker lol just to see if it would work. the other bulb i customize a red condom i had for my dome lights just wrap around it and duck tape it a lil..

its not really diy i didnt take step by stepby step pics. i JUST TOOK OUT THE BULBS AND REPLACE THEM WITH LEDS. ikept seeing people askin what bulbs to buy etc. so enjoy!
