MY led cluster what i did 99-00

I checked and the 74s do work instead of 24s in case anyone else was wondering.

i just ordered led's from superbrightled's they got some new wide angle led's now which they didnt have first time i did this mod back like 2yrs ago. hopefully these work better to reduce hot/cold spots.

i was gonna try to do it with flexible led's strings but thought too much hassle.
also got the ctr bezel in the mail soon.
i also plan on doing the needes with my little flourescent paint theory.

ill post pics when i get it done sometime this weekend hopefully.

i have a 93 civic and i have been wanting to make my cluster brighter at night. the bulbs that actually illuminate the cluster, are there any aftermarket brighter replacements? i havent seen anywhere.

so from the looks of it the led's from autolumination are better than the superbrightled's ones....seems they have brigther and wider output.

i tried this with blue leds then thought "ok this is way too much hastle" so i just went to autozone and bought some amber bulbs and put them in, then ordered the amber si climate control bulbs, and just took the amber bulb condoms off the si bulbs and put them on my ex bulbs (diff bulbs for some reason). Wala i have an amber cluster that matches an amber climate control, imo looks clean and oem, and way better than stock.

its pretty easy if youre willing to settle for a few hot/cold spots. i am finishing up my CC today and trying to see why all of a sudden after swtiching wheels i have horrible steering problems.

the thing i like about the amber bulbs is theres no hot or cold spots lol. sure leds are nice but it takes so much work to make it look good, imo if i was going to do it again i would do the led strip because that is an even light and theres no hot or cold spots.

soo basically you buy 4 tri power bulbs w.e color u want get your cluster out and replace the bulbs? is there any fitment issues the tri power looks kinda long?

They should fit just fine. They're made to fit those applications.

What size bulb are the two bulbs located above the cluster that illuminate the needles? both of mine went out and i cant see my needles / dont know which bulbs to buy. PLEASE HELP.

I'm gonna finally try this with LED's. My entire car's interior is in pieces so I'll mess with the climate control again too. That took forever the first time...Just ordered the bulbs. I hope it looks similar enough to slamdunks. And I hope that the guy gives all the correct color LED's.

did u take a look at my thread when i ddi mine? also dont splice into the cables for extra led power. u can hook up connectors to get power from the circuit lines in the cluster
