I dont get how people like these... they dont flow with the smooth curved bumper at all.. They dont flow with the side skirts/ front lip.... its too harsh of a lip...

rarity.. .and you may say they're not rare not because everyone has them..

but yes they're still still rare, alot of people on here just happen to have them because we all like civics

wow threadjacked FTW! lol, anyways ii should have it done in a week , maybe 2 and it will have the SIR. if i dont like it. ima just sell the SIR bumper and buy an OE one (they cost me like $40 anyways) i have extra paint and paintbooth at my disposal so if i change my mind it wont be a biggie.

You didn't buy those bumpers though. We parked behind that car and it's bumpers were still on. You bought the hatch bumpers. Coupe rear bumper won't fit your car.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm saying that different people like different things.

And yeah... the 6G Si obviously has differences from the other 6G Civics. If your'e referring to the thought that the 6G Si doesn't have any difference in the bumper from the other USDM '99-'00 Civics, then you must not understand that the "SiR" bumpers don't just come on the SiR. In many markets the "SiR" bumpers come on ALL hatches and/or sedans.

But I dislike the 6G Si for reasons besides just the looks. I'm just saying that no one has to agree to dislike or like the same things. Hell, I don't like lima beans... doesn't mean you have to.

Not liking something does not rely on looks alone. A comparision of not liking things does not have to rely on teh same reason for not liking each item. You don't like the bumpers because of how they look. I don't like the Si, well, for a lot of reasons (looks-wise it's pretty similar to an EX or any other trim anyway save for the lips, painted sideskirts and grill).

I'm saying it's just preference.

Me saying I don't like the Si is just to show that not everyone likes what is popular, but there's nothing wrong with that.

i look at the oem rear lip not cause its rare but just cause its a nice alternative and its oem...

i wasnt being negative... i was just being curious...

for instance i dont like hatchbacks at all except ep3's cause hatchbacks to me are too small and look almost girly to me.. But thats just my opinion.. They can look nice but i just think they are too small for me
