hahahahahaa!!!!!!! i havent heard a single DSM story without hearing a similar ending. blow another one up.blew the motor in it due to a #3 oil ringone day after the tune. sold the car for a steal at 4500. that car was a fraud. it was rebuilt salvaged title, the milage wasn't correct on it had prolly 200K on the car. i was running 9 psi on a motor that wasn't built. this is why i bought this car thought because it's already turbo from the factory. i can tune it on an SAFC, everything is upgradable, no custom down pipes. and Mitsubishi has been manufacturing turbo cars for like 20 years or something so s**t i figure they know what they're doing. but i'm ready to finally up the boost on this puppy to 16psi :-D i can't wait for that! but i won't be keeping that rinky dinky T25 i'm going to be buying a nice slow boy racing 20G or a GT35R can't decide i'm trying to save a bit of money to so i can buy the SAFC, i'll be runnign 10 psi on the new turbo until i get a new fuel pump, injectors, and SAFC for SOME king of tuning. in the long haul thought it'll have a real tune on it from DSMlink. (crome or uberdata)

kyle: no, this time the eclipse isn't my DD i have a volvo to do the dirty work. this car is strictly for pleasure commute on my days off. and this one will be getting built just incase lol

It's worth the $15,000 loan I had to get for it. My GS-T was paid for when I sold my civic so I had about 8,000 to put toward it. I'm only paying 297 a month. Not bad for an STI though. I got it for 22,500. It's a ton of fun, I absolutely love it. If you've never experienced an AWD launch your life isn't complete But there's no way I'd buy an 08 for 37,000 
For 22,ish I'ld say it's worth every penny. I want to go stage 2 protune and get about 330 awhp out of it and then perhaps a turbo upgrade but I doubt that will happen. I'm getting married in about a year and a half or two years and money's tight now so sadly enough she'll have to find a new home before that happens

if you need to take out a loan for a 5 grand car you are poor as f**k ..... i mean come on you coulda easily bought something for like 1 or 2k .... drove that for a year or two, then saved up enough money to not have a loan or interst

Nice, I'm still hitting neckbreaking 2.2 60's with my Si. I'm actually trying to get a meet together, probably at Steele in March sometime. We'll see how many people can make it this time, lol. Oh, and I'm planning on being boosted by then too..haha what's up bro! You can drive it as soon as you beat meI'm getting an exhaust soon so my next trip to steel will be when it warms up a hair.

I'm leaning more and more towards going ahead and selling it and looking into a boosted 5th gen hatch of some sort which will be quicker than the STi but sacrifice the twisties which I'm not really concerned about so it equals out. Then I can put any other money in making it go and show cause you know all my cars have looked good
