Disabled HICAS today. The rear is so much more stable in high speed corners and on high angle corner exits. f**k HICAS...

Oh trust me I did. Today I finally just said f**k it, I'll get used to the hicas light. I got used to the cel (disconnected egr), but damn the hicas light is bright at night lol. I didn't think the benefit would be so postive though, it made a big difference for the better.

I had an 18 month old gift certificate for window tinting. Finally got it done today. 30% front 17% rear. No more ugly as f**k 10 year old purple tint. Pics later.

I was just happy to find a 240 for a good price. With getting an SE though, now I gotta get rid of hicas, abs, power windows, power etc. lol

Much to my surprise the engine now has the wonderful timing chain guide rattle. In the 142k miles before I had this car they were never taken off even though the Nissan TSB is just about as old as the car...

Yup... Took off the valve cover and the upper guide was broken. It was just laying on top of the timing chain and I just picked it up. The guide was completely severed from the cylinder head...
But now, no more rattle and suprisingly, the engine is way more quiet even before the horrible rattle started.
