Nah I don't think the gasket is a necessity it just came with it.
Also got some more AN fittings today. Next paycheck will be some serious goodies.

Well today I got some stuff done to my hatch. I put the master cylinders in as well as the brake lines. As well as having to clean some white overspray from my engine bay because someone else painting a piece of crap white hatchback in the garage. It made sure to cover it up really well before I left. I also finished the filler work on the fenders and primed them today.
I also ordered some sweet mounts the other day. They'll be here soon

engine looks great and the motor mounts are going to set it off
your doing a wire tuck, and have the motor out, have you thought of smoothing the firewall out? i have never really seen that before. robbie is using those same mounts on his build, he got a lot of chasebay stuff, you gonna go that way too? looking ballin buddy!
Ehh, I'm gonna do a wire tuck but the firewall isn't going to be completely shaved. I'm going for functionality and looks. But in my pics the s**t looks dirty even though it really isn't. But I guess the next step is getting the engine in the bay and acutally doing wiring. I've got to buy a lot of techflex loom for it after it is in the car.

Nope, And I don't care. They look good enough the way they are. The bay isn't shaved, just certain things are moved out of sight for a cleaner look.
May I suggest something? I hope so...

So on the brake lines you ever thought about paint? I think that if they were black lines, it would enhance them some and make them more of a cool thing then a bad thing.... Just a thought!

gottcha, thanks for the clearing up part lol. i am sure it will look just fine. what are you removing or relocating? will you be keeping the brake booster i cant recall? and what are your interior plans with the car? i do not recall what you said? will you be looking at the gathers flat fold down rear? i do not believe i have seen interior pics of the car yet, any chance you can fix that 
how modded will this car be as far as appearance? is that color in the bay going to be the color of the rest of the car? if so it may be growing on me

Black would look nice, but they are on there so I'm lazy lol. I like OD green lol. As far as the interior it is all stock purple tweed, sunroof car, jdm factory interior which includes the flat folding rear seat which is waaayyyy cooler than the US rear seat.
Exterior is kinda up in the air as far as the spoiler goes. I can't decide if I want a nice duckbill or keep the SIR wing. I've got wings west Rs side skirts and a J's front lip and intake duct. Other than that the exterior is stock jdm.The wheels and other goodies are looks I guess.
Things that aren't on the initial list are things I just decided that i'm getting for it.
J's front and rear tow hooks(yeah I know but I've got real J's stuff)

Got something cool in the mail today. I'm waiting for my taxes to come back to blow more money on it but I'm buying stuff like this in the meanwhile. Innovative anodized purple mounts. They make all kinds of colors. I haven't owned them before but the quality is much nicer than Avid and the same quality as Hasport but cheaper and still made in the USA.
^^^Well maybe anyways. I like purple lol
