You would notice that. There is no detail over looked. It came with the cheap ass intake I hacked up. It WILL NOT be used so fear not. It was just taking up space so I could finish my box.

As to the guy who smells forced induction, you may be confused because I've already ordered my bisimoto header...

Well I finished my cooling plate and intake heat shield today. Took a couple of pics, next I'll take an install picture. Hopefully I won't have to take it off after final install.

Well I got something cool in the mail today. One of a few things headed my way right now. I'll put that stuff on tomorrow and get some pics.

I'll redo the original post because lots of things have changed.
I'm also working on the car tomorrow so I'll post some pics of the progress.

I don't have the bolts yet. Tucking a radiator is a pain in the ass, having to put the filler cap at the very highest point or you run into big problems. I have no plans of anodizing anything, but I did put the gold on the effective side of the shield as well as epoxy primed and painted the shield and plate with gunmetal aircraft paint. That DEI heat wrap is the shiz. reflects 80% of all heat up to 850 degrees.

I love your car bro, but I am not digging all the different colors, you got too much going on, go with up to 3 colors and stick with it. You got red/white V/cover, Different color of red car, Gold, Gray, Purple, blue etc etc

Just my 2 cents! =)

Oh hey! Go to the parts store, get a set of those Door Car Rubber things in Black, put it around the intake hole of the heat shield. It will help prevent damaging your intake or the wrap. And it will look clean!! Could even put it on the edge of the shield on top for a professional look =)

Already got it. But I like the way you think. As for my overly tacky engine bay I think I'll stick with it.

I do have the master to make the shields, probably wouldn't sell a lot though. I made it out of poster board first. If you wanna try making stuff start there and with tape. It's much cheaper and easier than using metal from the start.

I just read through all 12 pages thus far. Im digging the build. I do agree that you have a lot of colors going on and I personally would have limited myself to 2-3, but I still like what you have going on here.

Ive never seen the bottle cap "trick" before. I think its awesome and hilarious. Maybe Ill steal the idea for myself LOL.

I look forward to some more updates.
